Sterling Silver Cuttlelink
Bracelets with Gemstones

Artist’s Statement
My objective when designing this line was to produce sturdy, wearable jewellery which evokes sentimental value.  Simplicity and durability are important features which help summon personality in the work.  These qualities also promote the development of an intimate, long lasting relationship between the piece and the wearer.  Jewellery should be timeless.
I believe the wearable art experience is heightened when natural gemstones are used.  The magic and power of the earth is transmitted from every piece to the wearer through cuttlefish casting, the use of natural, hand cut stones.  Each shape can be matched with one similar or different to become a set.
