Fashion+Art+Textile Design+Craft

People who identify with my work can sense the joy I feel in creating it, and get a kick out of carrying a little of that joy around with them on their shoulder or in their pocket.

Biography
Melissa Helland recently returned to her soul-filling hometown of Victoria B.C. where she now lives and creates.

Highlights of the the years prior to this include: obtaining a diploma in fashion design, working as a sewing contractor in the interior design industry, and living for 8 ½ years in Toronto, exploring the fashion, art and craft industries, apprenticing for 2 independent designers, founding Leo Rising, and participating in the Toronto One of a Kind Show.
